Thirty five years of farming and the advent of precision agriculture sparked the
thinking that led to the invention that brings soil sampling into the robotics age.
Arkansan Jim Burton, founder of AgRobotics, recalls those days of drudgery on his farm — riding, stopping and taking a soil sample, and then getting back in the four-wheeler. “It was not an enjoyable job,” Jim says.
