AutoProbe Technologies was recently featured in the online publication, Corn and Soybean Digest. In the article, the AutoProbe, which can quickly and easily pull up to 40 cores at a time, is detailed, and its enormous benefits are once again praised.
Automated soil sampling is becoming a must for farmers, allowing them to sample hundreds and hundreds of acres in one day, with the confidence that their samples are truthful. Achieving a precise and accurate core sample is especially important when it comes to making sure you truly know what your soil is telling you, nutrient wise.
"Part of the problem is that different nutrients require a different number of cores to achieve a certain degree of precision. Phosphorus and potassium require the most; organic matter the fewest. The field and its inherent variability also play a role. Variability, banding history and no-till can all raise the target number of cores needed. With these machines, the number of cores is no longer an issue, whether 20, 30 or 40, says Mallarino."
With the AutoProbe allowing easy sampling to take place more often now, it's safe to say that this new technology is here to stay, and we are proud to watch it spread. To read the full article feature, click HERE.
