A Brief History

AgRobotics began in an actual farming environment. The company was founded by Jim Burton in 2006. Jim is a third generation farmer recognized as a leading agricultural entrepreneur. With over 35 years of day-to-day farming experience and an education in Agricultural Engineering, Jim has experienced first-hand the advancement of digital technology on an operating farm. Because of the advancements in mechanized production and the ever-changing landscape of the farming economy, Jim first envisioned and then created new ways of simplifying old farming practices. The first machine to roll out of AgRobotics in 2008 will be the AutoProbe™.
