Garbage In Garbage Out

The ProblemTypically, 4-6 cores or at best, 10-12 cores are pulled at inconsistent distances, angles, and depths and simply cannot reap the quality sample that today's growers requires to get the results promised by today's precision agriculture technologies.

Soil sampling methods haven't changed much since collecting soil samples began. Typically four to six cores are pulled by hand at inconsistent depths & angles from the center of a grid, covering only 30 feet. Mechanical soil sampling methods pull cores more consistently but still typically only deliver 6 to 12 cores pulled from a small area. There is just no comparison between a hand or mechanized sampling and AutoProbe.

AutoProbe

The Solution

The patented technology pulls up to 40 cores effortlessly in consistent, uniform, and accurate distances, angles, and depths from the comfort of the tractor cab. Precise sampling leads to precise planting and precise nutrient placement resulting in maximum yields and lower costs.

Precision Agriculture starts with a precise sample and only AutoProbe™ can deliver the world's highest quality soil sample. AutoProbe™ employs the latest in GPS and telematics technologies and pulls a maximum of 41 cores at uniform, consistent and accurate distances and depths on 2.5 acre grids or 27 cores on 1 acre grids.

AutoProbe can also be configured for zones and most any other creative sampling regiment a agricultural professional can come up with. It is repeatable and automatic—eliminating human error and fatigue. Experts predict that soil sampling by AutoProbe will become the new standard because accurate soil data is the foundation for all precision agriculture technologies.

Every successful grower knows that the whole game is about keeping costs low while maximizing yield. That's why every program should start with the most accurate soil data available. With an AutoProbe sample you'll never have to second guess your soil data and you can be confident that you have the most accurate soil data available

MontanaStateChart

In the chart above you can see that AutoProbe™ is the most effecient system for collecting the subsamples necessary to acheive at or near 90% confidence levels. Montana State University Extension Service has defined the number of cores necessary to adequately measure key elements like Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium. Only AutoProbe can deliver the appropriate number of cores in an efficient manner.

More cores means better quality soil data. Better soil data leads to improvements at every stage in the Precision Ag process. All of those improvements mean saving money and increasing yield.
